Origins and Vision
The Church Multiplication Initiative (CMI) was born out of a deep calling and vision to fulfill the Great Commission. Founded by a dedicated pastor who encountered Jesus during his college days in Munnar, Kerala, CMI is the culmination of decades of ministry and a renewed vision to spread the Gospel through discipleship and church planting. The founder, after completing his Masters, chose to follow God’s call over promising job offers, dedicating his life to serving the Lord.
CMI's network has grown to include around 12,000 churches, working closely with 200 multipliers from 200 cities across India. This extensive network exemplifies CMI's commitment to spreading the Gospel and making disciples. Each branch focuses on equipping believers with effective strategies and tools for evangelism, discipleship, and church multiplication.
Our Future Vision
Growth and Expansion
Since its inception, CMI has grown tremendously. It now operates with four specialized branches—ELECT (Pastors), D-CODE (Youth), First Witness (Women), and CONNECT (Children)—each targeting different groups within the church community. This strategic approach ensures that every believer, from children to pastors, receives the necessary support and resources for their spiritual growth and ministry involvement. Looking ahead, CMI is excited about the future and remains committed to its mission of multiplying disciples, churches, leaders, and movements. The ministry aims to continue growing its network, expanding its reach, and impacting more lives for Christ. The founder and his team are dedicated to following God’s guidance, building on past successes, and exploring new opportunities to advance the Kingdom of God.
